Healing Modalities

Here are the healing modalities that are woven into the WILOPA™ Healing System. Healing modalities are like tools. Wilopa is the tool box. A complete tool box that has lots of different tools for all sorts of needs. For example a construction worker will use more than just a hammer to build a house. Likewise, while in a therapy session with a Wilopa practitioner you may experience one or more, or components of, the following healing modalities.

NOTE: Some of the pages listed below are for reference, definition, and information only. Wilopa Practitioners are not licensed medical personnel and do not practice western medical psychotherapy. However we do utilize and combine certain useful components of several while not engaging in their official entire process.

Living At Cause – Core Philosophy

At Cause vs. in Effect is a primary core philosophy in the Wilopa Healing System. Understanding the differences between Cause and Effect is the KEY to control and success in your life. While NOT understanding the correlation leaves you victimized and powerless. In this study we will uncover what that means, how it works, and how you can apply this principle to your own life for emotional balance, strength, and healing.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of subconscious belief change psychotherapy developed from various Neuro-Linguistic Programming dissociative techniques. It enables people who are visually oriented in their representational system to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR does not, however, address or heal core problems. It only teaches the client how to better process and cope with the symptoms.
